Val Demings' calling has always been to serve and protect, which is why she became a social worker and, later, entered the police academy, graduating with distinctions of excellence and a reputation for being a bold, creative, and compassionate cop.

Naturally, she eventually became Orlando's first female chief of police, serving in the police for 27 years total and making her city proud. But Val's mission of uplifting her community wouldn't stop there. In 2016, she was elected by the people to serve Florida's 10th District in Congress. She swiftly gained a reputation as a tireless champion for public safety, civil rights, and the American Dream that had given her a chance to succeed. She gained widespread acclaim for her conduct as a deliberative and justice-focused impeachment manager during the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.

She has never given up on the promise of what America could be, if we have the bravery to fight for it, together. To continue honoring that promise, Val Demings is now running to become Florida's Senator, and she needs our help to make sure she has the resources she needs to win.
