We're sure most of you are familiar with Dr. Oz – the New Jerseyan who moved to Pennsylvania right before launching his campaign for Pennsylvania's Senate seat. But Dr. Oz isn't the only carpetbagger running for office in PA.

Matt's opponent, Jim Bognet, spent 25 years living outside of the district as a Republican political consultant and lobbying executive. Bognet made the move back to Pennsylvania's 8th District in 2020 to run for Congress.

On the campaign trail, it's been clear Bognet is out of touch with Northeastern Pennsylvanians and the issues that matter most to them.

While Bognet was living everywhere from Texas to D.C. to California, Matt was here in the 8th District, fighting for Northeastern Pennsylvanians in Congress.
