Recovery Month [ [link removed] ]
*September is Recovery Month*
The Bureau of Justice Assistance?s (BJA) Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) is proud to support Recovery Month! Every September, we celebrate the people who have taken the long journey toward recovery from substance use issues and support those who have not or are still on the road to recovery. BJA administers a number of programs that grow and foster a wide support network of recovery professionals and peers who make the journey toward recovery easier and less isolating for those looking to make that brave first step.
This September, COSSAP promotes Recovery Month by sharing personal stories from those in recovery and community members who support recovery through the work they perform. We hope these messages inspire hope and action! New Champions of Recovery videos and additional resources will be released throughout the month.?
