Leora Levy Demands Blumenthal Be Transparent with Voters Over Revived Iran Nuclear Deal
GREENWICH, CT - Political outsider and U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy is once again demanding Dick Blumenthal be transparent and let voters know how he would vote on a new version of the already failed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement, which reports say is coming closer to moving forward.
Levy’s statement on demanding accountability from failed leaders:
“Unlike Blumenthal, I would never support an agreement that would endanger Americans, abandon our allies, Israel and the other signers of the Abraham Accords, while simultaneously making Iran an even more dangerous threat to the rest of the world. Unfortunately for Connecticut, thirty-seven-year career politician Dick Blumenthal not only has a history of stealing veterans’ valor, but he also has a history of supporting foreign policy that has made America less safe. This includes supporting the original Iran Nuclear Deal in 2015 and working alongside the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group that has been listed among designated terrorist groups, accused of having deep ties to terror organizations - including the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Sami-al Arian terrorist trial in 2006.
“Our nation deserves accountable leaders handling foreign affairs, not out of touch career politicians like Blumenthal who praise and support radical groups. America must never cower and kowtow to despotic governments.”
