I want to take a moment to explain why raising $30,000 before the end of the month is so important:
1) Our average contribution in response to emails like this one is just $14.36, which shows the world that we’re running a people-powered movement. This campaign is 100% grassroots funded.
2) Ayanna doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs or corporate special interests. Ayanna won’t trade political access for corporate cash, because she’s serving the people.
3) Reaching our $30,000 fundraising goal will allow us to hire organizers, open a campaign office, and invest in digital organizing software so our team can reach more voters than ever before.
