I’ve never forgotten where I came from. I’m the product of working parents who didn’t come from money or power. I went to public school in Las Vegas, became a first-generation college graduate, took a year off school to save enough money working at a construction company to put myself through law school, and eventually became the first Latina ever elected to the Senate.

But my toughest fight yet is this November’s election: I’m currently trailing my Trump-endorsed opponent by 1 POINT while Mitch McConnell and his allies are blanketing Nevada’s airwaves with $34 MILLION in attack ads to defeat me.

Senate control will be decided in Nevada, and CNN just ranked me as the most vulnerable senator in the country.
