|  | Join us September 2022 to celebrate the role of transit in the Bay Area with events, rides, and prizes! |
| | In our seventh annual event, we will spend September with our partners joyfully celebrating the buses, trains and people that make the wonderful transit system we all know and ride. You can look forward to a region-wide ride contest and prizes (including a tour of the Central Subway, a Warriors jersey signed by Jordan Poole, a Muni tote bag, and more!), a San Francisco Ride-Along and Rally with the Mayor and Board of Supervisors, our Rider First Awards Ceremony that honors riders just like you, and tons more exciting, transit-themed regional activities. Events so far include a Cable Car Museum Tour, a ride along and happy hour with transit CEOs from various agencies, live music at transit stations, panel discussions, a day where we try to ride all 27 transit lines, a ferry beer and ride, and so much more! |  | Come show your support for public transit and your fellow transit riders at SFTR's Ride Along & Rally, which also marks our Transit Month Kick-Off Event! You'll meet up with other riders, city leaders, SFTR members, and more at locations across the city to ride Muni together to City Hall, where we'll have speakers contextualize the state of public transit today and set the stage for our engagement on all things transit for the rest of September. Confirmed attendees include Mayor London Breed, Senator Scott Wiener, and Assemblymember Matt Haney. Sign up below to be notified of the ride-along locations as we finalize them!
