Jack, even Mitch McConnell admits that his party does not have the brightest crayons in the box running for Senate this year: Herschel Walker in Georgia, Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania and J.D. Vance in Ohio—all candidates who need to win for Republicans to take the majority, but who've run some of the worst, most gaffe-prone campaigns in recent memory. No surprise then that McConnell recently told reporters "I think there's a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate."

However, we can't rest on our laurels. Republicans still have quite a few advantages over Democrats heading into the midterm elections, like newly passed voter suppression laws, voter intimidation and disinformation, and a rabid MAGA crowd that is sure to vote.

A Democratic victory won't be easy, but it is a real possibility that we may gain seats this fall. With enough resources, Daily Kos-endorsed candidates for Senate, Cheri Beasley, John Fetterman, and Mandela Barnes, can energize and mobilize voters to the polls.

Not only can Democrats hold on to their Senate majority, but they can gain a seat or two in the upcoming elections. That's why I am asking you to donate $3 to each of these Daily Kos-endorsed Democrats in key races.
