Folks – My wife Meghann and I just finished up dinner with the kids, so I thought I’d reach out with a quick update on our progress towards our end-of-month fundraising goal. 

We’re still $5,459 short of our goal and it would mean a lot if you could chip in $5 or whatever you can to get us back on track. But first, I have to brag about Meghann’s BBQ:

Meghann’s been firing up the smoker all summer for BBQ and ribs and it’s been the perfect summer meal on nights like this.

Before I settle in for the night, I’m still hoping we can turn things around on our end-of-month fundraising goal. We have to publicly report our fundraising numbers again next month and I know we can dig deep to build the momentum we need right now.

Can I count on you to pitch in $5 or whatever you can today to help us meet our $25,000 end-of-month goal and deliver real leadership to NC-11?
