My job is to serve you – regardless of party. Everyone deserves a government that works for them, not just for special interests or big corporations.
That’s why I stood up to leaders in my own party to stop congressional pay raises and insider stock trading in Congress.
We’ve seen officials appear to use their privilege for personal gain. This is absolutely unacceptable. Members of Congress shouldn’t be able to use inside information to buy and sell stocks.

I’m supporting the bipartisan TRUST in Congress Act to require all members of Congress and their immediate family members to place stocks and other investments in blind trusts. This way, members of Congress can’t abuse the system for personal gain.
I’m committed to building a better future – with bipartisan and concrete solutions to rebuild our economy with more jobs and lower prices. But that work begins with fighting corruption and extremism across the political spectrum so we can deliver results for hardworking Kansans.
That’s why I’ve also fought to strengthen ethics rules for members of Congress and to roll back the dominance of big money in our politics. We can’t let secret special interests and billionaires dominate our elections and set the agenda.
