Indivisibles,

August is coming to an end, and with the midterm election less than 75
days away, we wanted to give you a short update. For starters, we have to
congratulate IndivisiCandidate Josh Riley for winning his primary in New
York’s 19th congressional district! He and other progressives were able to
notch huge wins on Tuesday across New York and Florida. With Josh’s
victory, we’re wrapping up our primary election work on a high note and
shifting our focus squarely on the general election.

Republican voters have spent the last few months nominating MAGA
extremists who are hellbent on continuing the onslaught of hateful
rhetoric against LGBTQ+ people, attacking public schools, undermining our
democracy, and imposing draconian abortion restrictions. All of these
reactionary plans are massively unpopular, which means we have to spend
every day of the next two months letting the public know exactly what’s at
stake.

Here are just a few things we’re already doing:

* Adding more and more resources to our Give No Ground program so
activists have what they need to make an impact right away
* Hosting our phonebank and textbanking tools, working with local groups
to host direct voter contact parties, and rounding up helpful
resources to counter Republican talking points
* Launching a MAJOR nationwide postcarding program to contact hundreds
of thousands of voters in all of our Give No Ground races
* Funding support for local groups to organize events, grow their
membership, build community, and win big in November

In the last two months, we’ve also been expanding our Give No Ground
campaign with pilot programs in Pennsylvania and Arizona. We’re working
directly with Indivisible groups to put a spotlight on the GOP’s most
extreme stances and we’re doing it through ads in local newspapers and
digital platforms, posters, rolling billboards, postcards, and much, much
more.

We’re already starting to see the impact this work is having through
polling and new sign ups for local groups and we want to continue scaling
up our election programs, but we need your help. So far, we’ve spent
$37,301 on our pilot program -- and we’ll be honest, that is money that we
hadn’t originally budgeted for at the beginning of the year. We need your
help to make sure we’re able to say YES to all of the work we’re planning
in these races before Election Day. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in
$10 to help
expand Indivisible’s election programs and help fund all our crucial work
to defeat MAGA mayhem in November?

Primary after primary, we’ve seen Republicans nominate MAGA extremists who
are pushing violent, hateful rhetoric and dangerous conspiracy theories.
Voters face a stark choice in November and we already know we have public
opinion on our side -- it’s our job to make sure that every voter and
potential voter hears about what the GOP has in store for them and how
important it is to take a stand.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
