Even Fox News is admitting that my friend Gabe Vasquez is on the cusp of unseating far-right Rep. Yvette Herrell in New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, folks:

They just upgraded his race from Lean Republican to a Toss-up.

This is on top of a new poll that has Gabe one point ahead of his MAGA Republican opponent. Gabe’s campaign is seeing incredible momentum — but we can’t leave anything to chance.

This toss-up is one of the most important House races in the country and could determine whether Democrats hold the House majority next year. Democrats held this seat as recently as 2018 and what happens in November will all come down to turnout. That’s why Gabe’s team is running on all cylinders to get out the vote — going on the air with TV ads, putting more yard signs on lawns, making calls, and knocking on doors.

Republicans will spare no expense to stop Gabe from flipping this seat and protecting our House majority. That’s why we’re counting on you in this final stretch. Can you split a contribution between Gabe and me before our end-of-month deadline expires to get him across the finish line?

Rep. Herrell isn’t looking out for New Mexicans’ best interests. She's too busy advancing the GOP's extreme agenda. Instead of working for the people, she's voted against:

- Certifying the 2020 election results
- Protecting the right to choose
- Better healthcare for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits
- Lowering prescription drug costs
- Taking action on climate change
- Rebuilding and upgrading our infrastructure
- And many more policies that are already at work helping people and our planet

New Mexicans are catching on to who Rep. Herrell truly is. Meanwhile, Gabe is gaining ground in this race because New Mexicans want a leader who will fight to protect reproductive freedom, defend our democracy and voting rights, make healthcare more affordable, and preserve our public lands and waters.
