I was on pins and needles all day yesterday. But the deadline passed and no Republican jumped in against me for Iowa State House District 1!  

So, here’s the plan. I’m going to spend my time and my campaign resources getting out the vote for Iowa Democrats.

We have so many critical races we need to win in November. Chip in $20.22 and let’s work together to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Iowa.

The stakes for Iowans are high. Right now, Republicans have the trifecta – they control the governorship, the State House and the State Senate. They’ve gutted voting rights, jeopardized Iowans’ reproductive freedom, and they’re attacking our teachers and defunding our public schools. 

Our Iowa congressional delegation doesn’t look much different either – we have 5 Republicans and only 1 Democrat representing Iowa in Congress. These Iowa Republican lawmakers ALL voted against reducing prescription drug prices and helping families with the high cost of child care.

It’s time we work together and take our state back. Will you chip in $20.22 to help us elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2022?

Even if I’m running unopposed, I’m going to be knocking on doors and getting the word out about our critical races. If we get out the vote, I truly believe we can turn things around in November.
