John,
The overwhelming majority of scientists around the world warn that we must take bold and aggressive action to prevent the catastrophic impact of climate change.
Our next president must make climate change a top priority. The future of this country, and this planet, depends on it.
That's why today, I'm joining the League of Conservation Voters in calling on the moderators of the upcoming presidential debates to devote a significant portion of time to discuss candidates’ plans to address the climate crisis in detail.
Will you add your name to our letter urging debate moderators to devote more time to discussing climate change? We’ll send this letter directly to them, and we want to include as many signers as possible.

Climate change can't be treated like a one-off issue for candidates to deliver their talking points and move on. There's so much that needs to be addressed. Climate justice. How to rein in polluters and end offshore drilling. Creating jobs by transitioning to a new, clean energy economy. Protecting our federal lands, and so much more.
Voters want and deserve to hear directly about our candidates’ plans to address climate change. And the moderators have a responsibility to ensure that happens.
Add your name to this letter urging upcoming debate moderators to allocate more time to climate change in the upcoming debates. The more signatures we can add to this letter -- the greater impact we will have.
Thanks for your support,
Mike
