In the weeks since emails published online by the Southern Poverty Law Center showed White House senior advisor Stephen Miller to be an avowed White Nationalist, nearly 40 Senators, 100+ members of the House of Representatives, and 50+ civil rights organizations have all called for Miller’s resignation.

I’m proud to have been one of the first Representatives to demand Stephen Miller resign, and I’m encouraged to see support for his resignation building across the country. If we want to reverse Trump’s cruel family separation policy, his elimination of protections for immigrants in the U.S. legally, and his proposed ban on green card access for immigrants who rely on social services, we have to go right to the source.
