$369 billion

The Inflation Reduction Act allocates $369 billion for climate and clean energy technologies, and includes industrial policy provisions that could bolster U.S. manufacturing, enhancing competition with China.

78 exercises

China and Russia participated in at least 78 joint military exercises between 2003 and mid-2022, with more than half of these taking place since 2016.

825 greenhouses

The Yonpo Vegetable Greenhouse Farm is a top-priority project for North Korea. Once completed, the project will convert the former grounds of the Korean People’s Air and Air Defense Force airbase at Yonpo into an agricultural complex with 825 greenhouses, support buildings, and housing units.

2 aid packages

The United States recently announced two aid packages to Ukraine. A $775 million package provides U.S. equipment from existing stocks. The second, much larger, $3 billion package procures new equipment, provides training, and will take months or even years to fully implement.
