Over the past year, every single member of Congress had to make a choice: democracy or Donald Trump.

I chose democracy. So did my fellow Democrats, along with a few brave Republican colleagues.

Well, it’s become very clear which side my right-wing opponent, Jen Kiggans, will choose if she flips this seat in November. And while I’d prefer to focus on working hard for my constituents, I can’t in good conscience ignore the danger that she poses to our democracy.

These anti-democratic actions aren’t normal or acceptable, and they certainly aren't leadership. Please, chip in $10 or $20 so we can reject extremism in Washington and win this battleground race. With VA-02 rated as a toss-up, we can’t afford to miss my end-of-month goal.

Kiggans has proven that she’s willing to go to any lengths to please the most radical elements of the Republican Party: demanding to defund the FBI, refusing to admit that Joe Biden is the legitimate president, and spreading anti-American conspiracy theories.

We have a duty to hold VA-02 and ensure that self-serving extremists like Kiggans stay far away from the halls of power.

The thing is, I can’t do it without your help. Republicans are targeting me with their massive new $1.2 MILLION attack ad blitz in VA-02. 

I need to make a clear and compelling response – but this is a major expense my campaign wasn’t prepared for. So please, chip in $10, $20, or whatever you can to help me defend my record and reach our end-of-month goal.
