The past few weeks have been busy for our campaign, so I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you. We’re in for a tough election this year, so your continued support means the world to me and my team.

I’m running a grassroots campaign here in ME-02, meaning I’m primarily relying on everyday Mainers like yourself to power my team. That makes things more challenging from a financial standpoint, but when it really comes down to it, that’s just how it should be.

I know things can seem broken in Washington, but here in ME-02, I do my best everyday to honor my commitment to provide thoughtful representation of my constituents' needs in Congress.

Here’s the current situation, John. Kevin McCarthy and his allies have already spent $ 4 million dollars against us and they’re planning to spend at least another $5 million in the next 10 weeks.

They are spending heavily in our district because they stand to benefit if petty partisanship replaces the kind of independence that I’ve done my best to bring to this district’s representation in Washington.

The best way to fight back against these attacks is to help my team spread our message about what we have accomplished for Mainers in Congress. I know it’s asking a lot, but if you’re able, can you contribute something today to help us close the gap and meet our August fundraising goal?
