I overheard this conversation on the bus the other day. They were whispering right behind me, and I couldn’t help but listen in 👂

Stranger 1: I’m so sick of liberals trying to hijack our country!!! Leave us alone!

Stranger 2: Tell me about it. Have you donated to any Republican candidates?

Stranger 1: [laughs] Donated? Who donates to POLITICIANS?!

Stranger 2: I have. I’m selective about the candidates I donate to, but I don’t want to risk anything this fall. Politicians ultimately pass legislation. Last election, I didn’t donate, and to be honest, I didn’t even vote… Look where that got us. If everyone thinks that way, the Dems will win again. That’s why I’m trying to be engaged in this cycle.

Stranger 1: Don’t you just feel like it’s a big scam, though?

Stranger 2: Is it a scam to protect your country? The $5 you contribute may go to a yard sign, feed volunteers, or fund a huge ad. In the end, it doesn’t matter. The point is, it helps conservative candidates WIN, and that’s all I want. That way, at least we have a chance at protecting our country. Right now, we’re just watching it crumble.

Stranger 1: Okay, now I’m confused. Should I donate?!

Stranger 2: It’s not too late. It’s your decision, but I personally think it’s worth a try. Let’s see where it gets us.

This conversation hit home. We really need all the help we can get if we want to flip the Senate this fall. Which person are you??
