Across the country, MAGA extremists are running for Congress in the hopes of returning the majority to Republicans and enacting their dangerous agenda.

In Washington's 3rd District, extremist Joe Kent recently defeated Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, a Republican who voted for Trump's impeachment, in the primary and is facing Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez in November. Kent has sided with white nationalists, supports a national abortion ban, and promoted Trump's "Big Lie" about the 2020 election. And here in Washington's 8th District, Kim is facing MAGA extremist Matt Larkin. Like Kent, Larkin wants to ban abortion. And, he refused to say whether Joe Biden's victory in 2020 was legitimate.

Kent and Larkin are too extreme for Washington State. Both of these races are going to be close, so Kim and Marie need our help to defeat their MAGA extremist opponents and defend our Democratic House majority.

Marie began her campaign for Congress, because, as a working mother and small business owner who struggles to afford child care and goes without health insurance to pay the bills, she knows working Washington families are being left behind by extremist politics.

In Congress, Marie will join Kim in focusing on the issues that matter most – from expanding access to affordable health care to lowering costs. And like Kim, Marie is the pro-choice advocate we need to fight back against the radical right-wing assault on reproductive rights.

But election experts are calling Kim's race a "toss up" and Marie's race became more competitive after Kent's primary win. They need our help right away to defend Kim's seat and flip WA-03.
