Our neighbors lost everything. Rand doesn’t care.
After losing almost everything, a community in East Kentucky is standing up to the coal industry and suing Blackhawk Mining.
We know widespread strip mining has dramatically increased the risk and severity of these floods. They deserve a leader who will fight for them, not against them. Rand Paul is not that leader.
Rand Paul will never stand up to exploitative coal companies because you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. That’s why he’s sold us out time and time again. Last I checked, Senators are elected to represent people, not corporations.
Our grassroots movement is up against a lot of industry money in this race. So I’m asking you: will you chip in $5 to give us a leg up?

There are many reasons why I’m running against Rand Paul. But the recent floods ravaging Kentucky have only made this race more urgent. Let’s review exactly where Rand Paul stands:
- Rand has taken at least $850,000 of dirty money from the mining, oil, and gas industries while our people continue to lose their homes, belongings, and even lives.
- Rand has a lifetime score of just 9% from the League of Conservation Voters for his horrific environmental record.
Miners and frontline communities are raising the alarm, but Rand won’t listen.
Rand’s response to such devastation makes it clear he doesn’t care about the people of Kentucky – he never has and never will. But the people of Kentucky are my family.
From the hood to the holler, I will always stand up for my family in Kentucky. We need a groundswell of donations to counteract their power and influence. Can I count on your $5 gift today?
Always in solidarity,
Charles Booker
