This week, the House of Representatives will vote on Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump. So far, the vote is expected to sadly fall upon mostly partisan lines, with only former Republican Justin Amash following his conscience to defend the Constitution and vote for impeachment, and a couple others, like former Democrat Jeff Van Drew, voting against them out of fear for their reelection campaign. It’s up to us to try to change that.
That’s why it’s imperative that on Tuesday and Wednesday, your representatives hear from you. They need to hear that their support for accountability and the constitutional powers of Congress are voting issues; that you expect them to support impeachment regardless of their party and regardless of how they think it will impact their reelection.
