This month, my daughter had her last first day of high school. Sending her off was incredibly emotional — something I'm sure many of you can relate to.
I feel so excited and grateful that she is back in person at her school, so proud of the woman she's becoming, so shocked that she's all grown up, and, if I'm being honest, a little fearful to see her back in a classroom.
It reminds me of why I'm running for office.
I'm running so we can continue to safely recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
I'm running so every woman across the country is in control of the intimate decisions about her own body.
I'm running so I can make sure our environmental policies protect our water and climate futures.
I'm running so we can pass common-sense gun safety bills, so we can put an end to any fear we feel about sending our kids into a classroom.
I'm running so I can make a better country for my daughter — and for every other kid in our district, in Arizona, and in the United States.
Election Day will be here before we know it. I need your help to build a winning campaign, so I have to ask: will you help me keep this seat blue by chipping in before my fundraising deadline in FOUR DAYS?
Thanks for all your support,
— Kirsten
