The data is clear: Cheri Beasley’s campaign in North Carolina could decide whether or not we protect and expand our Democratic Senate majority.

Cheri is within the margin of error in multiple polls from the past month. We’ve seen polling that has her anywhere from down by 3 to up by 4, but the bottom line is she can win this race.

FiveThirtyEight’s forecasting experts have rated North Carolina’s Senate race as one of seven races that will decide the Senate majority — and one of just three opportunities for Democrats to flip a seat.

And Decision Desk just moved their rating in our direction and declared North Carolina a “toss up.” We are one of just two races in the entire country to earn this rating from their nonpartisan analysts.

This race is too close for any of us to sit on the sidelines — we need everyone stepping up and chipping in when they can.
