John— With the midterms drawing closer, we want to highlight a few of the incredible Democracy Defenders we’ve endorsed for governor in three key states:
Republican governors like Greg Abbott, Brian Kemp, and Mike DeWine have all worked to weaken democracy in their states. All of them have signed gerrymandered maps into law that help the GOP win unearned legislative majorities. All of them have cracked down on voting rights. And all of them have signed or supported abortion bans that are endangering the health and lives of countless people. We can’t overstate the importance of defeating them this November.
If we can replace these Republicans with Democracy Defenders like Beto, Stacey, and Nan, they’ll be able to fight gerrymandering and voter suppression, block extreme GOP legislation, and save American democracy.
