Some concerning news just broke, so I hope you’ll let me explain why your

This week, we got word that my opponent has an exclusive “Congressional Club” to give her wealthiest donors a higher level of access to her time. According to the LA Times, dues for membership in Kim’s Club range between $5,800 and $20,000 per person.
In exchange for these dues, supporters get special access to at least four events per year -- like the one she held this week featuring a GOP Senator who just voted to block guaranteed access to contraceptive care.
When people think about the integrity of our democracy being at risk, many picture insurrectionists attacking the capitol building, but we can’t overlook the backdoor deals we don’t always hear about. They have a huge impact in eroding our voices.
These arrangements are exactly why Washington seems to only work for the wealthy few. It’s damaging to our democracy, and it’s why I refuse to accept a penny from corporate PACs.
