My campaign is facing a major deadline. Today is the last day that a Republican candidate can jump in the race against me for Iowa House District 1. As of right now, I’m still running unopposed. 

I’m not one to shy away from a tough challenge. But I’ve got to be honest, I wouldn’t mind running unopposed! I’ve only run in races where the odds were stacked heavily against me. But I also know with hard work, anything is possible, especially if you have strong grassroots support. 

So, here’s the deal: If we end up without a Republican opponent, I’m going to spend my time and resources trying to help other Democrats up and down the ballot. 

But if a Republican candidate jumps in against me today – it’s full steam ahead. We are going to fight with everything we’ve got to keep this seat blue. We can’t afford to lose a single seat in the Iowa Legislature. 

Chip in $7 and let’s work together to keep this seat blue and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in Iowa.
