After multiple polls showed me beating my ultra-conservative opponent, Republicans started panicking. National Republicans unleashed a $5 million ad campaign against me, and now they’re sending in the cavalry to save JD’s floundering campaign.

They know Senate control hinges on what happens here in Ohio, so they’ll do whatever it takes to win this race. This is the beginning of a new effort to tear down our campaign, and it’s no surprise that they ruthlessly attacked me. 

Now look, I’m not afraid of some schoolyard bullies — but Mitch McConnell has virtually unlimited resources to use against us and no shortage of right-wing puppets to fire up their extremist base.
