August ends in just 4 days, and right now we are $9,000 short of hitting our August target. Falling short now could mean making budget cuts, so is there anything you can chip in to help us close the gap?

I know it might sound cliché, but it’s true: Everything is on the line this November.

Just in the past year, we’ve seen Washington Republicans vote against bills that would codify abortion rights, repair our aging infrastructure, lower the cost of prescription drug like insulin, fight the infant formula shortage, address rising fuel prices, and more. Without a Democratic majority fighting for Americans in Congress, none of those historic pieces of legislation would have been passed.

It’s clear that if the radical right takes control of Congress in November, their top priority will be to push forward an anti-American agenda that hurts working families right here in eastern Connecticut.

And you can bet that if elected, Joe’s opponent Mike France would stand alongside the most radical parts of the GOP to block progress and promote dangerous policies. But don’t just take my word for it, John. Check out who Mike France was spending his time with in Greenwich recently.
