Last week, South Carolina lawmaker Neal Collins, after a call from a doctor, said, wait a second: you’re telling me if a fetus becomes nonviable after 6 weeks, our new crazy laws make it so that doctors can’t do ANYTHING. Which means young women could lose their uterus, go into sepsis or die? Well, shucks, that’s not good.
