Just making sure that you receive this email (below) from Bill Zent about today'scrucial San Diego City Council vote to ban scooters on the beach boardwalks. If you haven't already, please read my policy on Dockless Scooters.

San Diegans deserve a safe, unobstructed and accessible public right of way. Electric scooters have posed challenge after challenge on our City sidewalks, boardwalks, and pedestrian walking areas. As time has progressed, we have witnessed the situation worsen. Emergency rooms and urgent care centers are filling up with severe injuries. City resources are being wasted to collect and store inappropriately parked devices, and we don’t even know if the fines cover our costs.
Enough is enough! Call your City Councilmember today!
Please share on social media and forward the email to get the message out that now is time to restrict electric scooters on certain high pedestrian traffic pathways.
Thank you,
Bill Zent
