As we approach November, races up and down the ballot in Nevada are looking closer than ever. We wanted to give you a quick rundown on the Senate race and what we’re facing come November:

First, in 2016, Nevada elected Catherine Cortez Masto as the first Latina senator (and Nevada's first female senator) in US history.

Then, Republicans set their sights on Nevada, determined to flip it red.

Now, Senator Cortez Masto is one of the most vulnerable Senators up for re-election across the entire country.

And to make matters even worse, new polling shows that so many Latino voters who were the key to electing Senator Cortez Masto are now losing enthusiasm ahead of November, and don’t even plan to vote.

We have to boost voter turnout as much as possible between now and November. Will you pitch in to support our efforts to register and turn out Latinx voters?

Folks, our work here at Voto Latino is more important than ever. If we lose the Senate seat here in Nevada, we lose our Senate majority. That’s why we need to do everything in our power to turn out enthusiastic Democratic voters, and we know that young Latinx voters are just that.

But registering and turning out these voters takes real resources, and as November quickly approaches we want to ramp up our efforts even further.
