Michigan Republicans will descend upon Lansing for their nominating convention today. Their fractured party will officially nominate candidates for: 

  • Tudor Dixon's last-minute pick for Lieutenant Governor 
  • Attorney General (we expect the MIGOP to stick with Matt DePerno, who is under investigation by the FBI for stealing and hacking into voting machines... allegedly)
  • Secretary of State (we also expect the MIGOP to stick with Kristina Karamo as their pick for the state's top election administrator, even though she still denies the results of the 2020 election)

At the end of their convention, Michigan Republicans are going to be stuck with some of the most extreme, divisive, and inexperienced candidates this party has ever backed. 

This slate of candidates proves that the GOP is turning into a party of chaos where conspiracy theories and Trump's endorsement outweigh facts, plans, and any level of experience. 

We need to protect Michigan from these extremists clawing their way to power, Team.
