There's no doubt that this is a scary time for our democracy. The GOP has been relentless in attacking free and fair elections.

But we at the NDRC haven't lost hope – far from it. The 2022 election offers us an opportunity not just to push back against Republican attacks, but to push forward to strengthen our democracy so that it's less vulnerable to future threats.

I want to share something that President Obama said recently:

“History... teaches us that the best – and maybe the only – way to respond to those trying to weaken our democracy is to join together, work together, and fight back together.”
