Democracy Not Co-Governance
New Zealand First believes in fair democracy and equal citizenship,
that means pushing back against Labour's separatist Co-Governance
agenda.
This month, New Zealand First Leader, Winston Peters delivered his
'Co-Governance Is Not Democracy' speech in Warkworth. Peters hit out
at Labour's insidious agenda and delivered a scathing review of the
current Government's racist Co-Governance policies.

Mallard Apology a Win for New Zealanders
Prior to his resignation on August 24th Trevor Mallard issued an
apology to Rt Hon Winston Peters for the trespass notice served to him
earlier this year.
This is a direct result of the court action taken by Peters
against Speaker Trevor Mallard. This action was taken not out of
self-interest, but on behalf of the people of New Zealand to make a
stand and fight for our fundamental freedoms, rights, and to protect
our democracy.

We need to maximise our trade potential
Shane Jones blasts the current Government's fiscal irresponsibilty,
highlighting their failure to balance the books and tackle issues like
inflation, a lackluster tourism revenue, and a failing international
education. Jones argues that exporters and tourism leaders need
to see a fresh blueprint from our Government to maintain and grow our
position.
Political character shamefully exposed in
minor MP shenanigans
A week, as they say, is a long time in politics. Shane Jones
reflects on the state of the major parties and how their failings are
distracting Parliament from tackling issues important to ordinary
kiwis. There is genuine anger about unaccountable corporations,
filched assets, secret iwi deals and community disempowerment. A sense
that it is being done to them through a bogus process.

We are approaching the New Zealand First convention and annual
