DHD#10 ANNOUNCES NEW COVID-19 TESTING CLINICS, EXPANSION OF NOVAVAX TO 12 AND OLDER
New clinics in Manistee and Mason Counties begin next week
District Health Department #10 (DHD#10) is announcing two new COVID-19 testing clinics, one in Manistee County and the other in Mason County. These clinics will also be administered by Honu Management. The Manistee County clinic will be drive-thru only, and residents going to the Mason County clinic will park and test. Both clinics are scheduled to begin testing the week of August 29, 2022.
?We are pleased to be able to offer another option for COVID-19 testing to the residents of Manistee and Mason Counties,? said DHD#10 Health Officer Kevin Hughes. ?A big thank you to Honu Management, as well as the Manistee County Council on Aging and Safe Harbor Credit Union in Mason for allowing us to better serve our residents and keep everyone safe.?

DHD#10 will also now be administering Novavax for those 12 and up. This change comes after emergency approval was initially given for those 18 and older, but has now been expanded to those 12 and older.
