As we face unprecedented times. Republican legislators and the GOP are mobilizing quickly and strategically in support of restrictive voter suppression laws. From continuing to peddle The Big Lie, questioning the validity of mail and electronic voting, and prolonging audits that waste taxpayer dollars, we see no end in sight to their anti-democratic tactics.

Now more than ever, we must mobilize to defend the right to vote.

The California Democratic Party leads the nation’s largest voter protection program, recruiting hundreds of trained volunteer attorneys who are dispatched around the state to handle questions and field potential voter disenfranchisement issues.

As a volunteer with CADEM’s Voter Protection Team you have the choice to become a Voter Protection Hotline Operator (remote around the state) or Poll Monitor (in-person).

CADEM Voter Protection Hotline 1-877-321-VOTE Read more about becoming a Hotline Operator (remote around the state) Hotline Operators will assist voters calling in with voter-related questions & troubleshoot election based issues virtually. No prior experience is necessary. The hotline will be fully operational with volunteer operators who will be answering calls remotely from all over the country beginning Monday, October 17, 2022, to the Election, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, until the polls have closed! Read more about becoming a Poll Monitor (in-person) Poll monitors will check polling locations around the state to ensure that all voters have equal access to the ballot.CADEM will be offering full training via Zoom on Voter Protection before the General Election.
