SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!

Regional Organizer Amy from DSAUSA is in town! Sacramento DSA is holding a Structured Organizing Conversations training facilitated by Amy and an evening social this Sunday 8/28. Take a look below for more details.

This Sunday at 3pm, join Sacramento DSA at Organize Sacramento or on Zoom for a training in structured organizing conversations. Regional Organizer Amy runs an amazing training that will empower us to build Democratic Socialism in the greater Sacramento Area. Refreshments and lunch will be available for in person attendees. Organize Sacramento is located at 1714 Broadway, plenty of parking available in the surrounding neighborhood.

Structured organizing conversations are a key skill that every organizer must learn and continue to practice in order to effectively build capacity in our work and teach others to find their own power and use it in shared struggle for change. This training will be useful as we demand Medicare for All, Medical and Student Debt forgiveness, cessation of evictions, an end to cash bail, and more. We will need all hands on deck, and this training will help us to effectively talk with others about standing up to the ruling class and demanding that everyone’s needs are met, not just those of the wealthy.

Socialists take Old Sac! After the Structured Organizing Conversations Training, Sacramento DSA is hosting a 7pm Social at Honey and the Trapcat (1023 Front St Suite A, Sacramento, CA 95814). Come by and meet DSAUSA's regional organizer Amy and chat with Sacramento DSA members. See you Sunday!
