● TWO WEEKS LEFT to take action—triple your gift by 12/31
Drug Policy Alliance
The Time Is Now

Friend,

In 2018, there were more than 1.6 million drug arrests in the United States, the vast majority for simple possession of drugs for personal use. This unrelenting drug war has disproportionately impacted people of color and low-income communities for decades – nearly 80% of people in federal prison for drug offenses are Black or Latinx. It’s time to move drug policy reform and justice forward.

Will you triple your impact to end this racist drug war and save lives in 2020? Thanks to an anonymous donor, all donations are currently being matched 3X!

Triple My Gift

Decriminalizing drug use and possession will reduce arrests, prioritize the health and safety of people who use drugs rather than punish them, and free up valuable resources to be used in more effective, humane ways.

We’ve made monumental progress this year in our fight to end the criminalization of drugs and the people who use them—including helping the MORE Act, which would deschedule marijuana at the federal level, pass out of the House Judiciary Committee – the farthest any marijuana legalization legislation has ever advanced. But our work isn’t done, and we can’t do it alone. Can we count on you, right now?

Right now, your tax-deductible year-end gift, made by December 31, will go three times as far.

Friend, we would be so grateful for your support. Joining us with a gift right now means seizing upon a unique opportunity to triple your power to fuel the movement to end this disastrous drug war in 2020.

The time is now to end the criminalization of drugs and the people who use them in the United States. Will you fight with us? Your urgent year-end gift will be matched 3X.

Triple My Gift

Thank you for your commitment to this fight.

With gratitude,
