This morning, Team Cori met to discuss our fundraising numbers for August and our plans to shift into gear ahead of the general election.
Good news: This month, we went into the primary strong and came out on top.
Bad news: We’re a little behind on fundraising this month, and need to raise $38,500 before midnight on August 31 to stay on track.
Since winning the primary election this month, our fundraising slowed dramatically. A small slowdown is expected after a busy period like an election, and with the uptick in travel in the summer, campaigns always anticipate a minor dip in August.
Unfortunately for us, we’re experiencing both lulls — and we still have to ensure we’ve got the resources needed to accelerate toward the general election. Can you help us get back on track to meet our $38,500 goal for August with a contribution of $5?
