That’s how long until voters in California begin receiving mail-in ballots to vote in the November midterm. With just 45 days left, here's what you need to know about Jay Chen’s campaign to unseat Michelle Steel in CA-45:

⇒ After redistricting, this district is now widely considered a “key battleground” for House control. Democrats hold a voter registration advantage here, and President Biden won this district by 6 points. We can flip this seat.

⇒ Politico called CA-45 a “TOSS-UP” and one of the few districts “where control of Congress will be won." This is in large part credited to Michelle Steel’s far-right voting record and the strong, grassroots campaign being run by Jay Chen.

⇒ After the Roe decision, Democrats have been picking up momentum and over-performing in key, bellwether elections. Meanwhile, Steel has cosponsored legislation that would ban all abortions at the federal level.
