Robert Mueller sounded the alarm yesterday, testifying that Russia is working to undermine the 2020 elections "as we sit here." After the Mueller hearing, Mark took to the Senate floor to try and pass the FIRE Act to protect our democracy. But with zero explanation, Senate Republicans blocked the bill!

The FIRE Act says that if a foreign power reaches out to your presidential campaign and tries to interfere in the election, you have to report it to the FBI. Protecting our elections should be a bipartisan issue -- but as with so many other important bills, Mitch McConnell is standing in the way.

It's exactly why we need to flip the Senate in 2020. And if that's going to happen, Mark must win re-election. Scott Taylor has made it clear he'll toe the Trump-McConnell party line. And while Mark was working to secure our elections yesterday, Taylor spent the day on Twitter attacking Mark's work and complaining that President Trump was being "unfairly persecuted."

That's why we need your help today. Mark only won by less than one percentage point in 2014, and with Donald Trump's re-election headquarters now open in Virginia, we can't get complacent. Will you pitch in today to make sure our campaign has the resources we'll need to keep Mark in the Senate, fighting to protect our democracy?
