As the morning dew burns off of pastures which are starting to green up again, I am reminded daily of how blessed we are to live in East Texas. As teachers and children file back into their classrooms and the lights on Friday night warm to a bright glow, the hectic season for families begins yet again.
Over the last few months, I have been busy meeting new friends, hearing the concerns of parents and business owners, and attending hearings in the Capitol so I may better serve the needs of House District 18. I'm excited to continue to share the great experiences my staff and I have had the privilege to be a part of, and alert you to current events that might be of interest to you.
It's truly a blessing to serve as your state representative and bring our shared values to the Capitol, so your voice may be heard by the decision makers in Austin. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Take Care,

My staff and I had the privilege of meeting with school district leadership in HD-18 before the start of the school year. It was great to hear about their successes, as well as their honest concerns, as we prepare for the 88th Session.
