Future Forum Frontliner Sharice Davids is a reproductive freedom champion.

Rep. Davids has represented Kansas’ 3rd Congressional District since being elected in 2018. She became the first Democrat elected to represent a Kansas congressional district in a decade.

Sharice is also the first openly LGBTQ+ Native American elected to Congress, the first openly gay person elected to Congress from Kansas, and one of only two Native American women elected to the House. Today, she remains the only Democrat in the Kansas congressional delegation.

As a champion for reproductive freedom, Sharice has been on the frontlines of Kansas’ efforts to reject right-wing attempts to ban abortions.

Working with pro-choice advocates across her state and mobilizing grassroots activists, Sharice helped lead the recent overwhelming vote by Kansans to reject extremism.
