| Today is Women’s Equality Day! Sign on if you support equal rights for women everywhere!
Hey everyone – Katy here! Today is Women’s Equality Day. On this day in 1920, women gained the right to vote. We have many trailblazing women to thank for this historic day, and have had many since in the continuous fight for women to be treated as equals. Without Women’s Equality Day, I wouldn’t be able to have the voice that I have, or the opportunity to vote for who I believe is best fit to represent me. I’m also grateful that eventually, my daughter will be able to exercise her right to vote and participate in the political process. My husband is strong in his values, and one of the pillars of his values is treating women with the equality and respect they deserve. In Congress, he will be a strong advocate for women, because he believes that everyone deserves the rights guaranteed to them as Americans. So can you join me in signing on to protect women’s rights? We’ve come a long way, and we still have so far to go. But with Adam in Congress, women in this country will always have a champion. – Katy
