The last fourteen months have been an incredible, important journey, and I am honored to have had you by my side through it. Because of your support, our team knocked on thousands of doors, voiced the moral imperatives of our time, and held Elise Stefanik to account for her years of self-service on the backs of the hardworking people in Northern New York.

I am immensely grateful to the voters who cast their ballots for me, the volunteers who gave their personal time to help us, and the supporters who generously contributed to our campaign.

While Tuesday did not go as planned, I congratulate Matt Castelli on becoming the Democratic nominee. I said from the beginning that I would back the candidate who prevailed in the primary. Matt Castelli has my support, and I ask that you give him yours too. We must remain united in the mission to defeat Elise Stefanik. I encourage you to contribute to his campaign and follow him on social media.

I remain dedicated to Northern New York and our country. I will continue to work every day to ensure that our economy works for everyone, our democracy and voting rights are protected, individual rights are secure, assault weapons are off our streets, and our planet is around for future generations. I hope that you will continue to stand with me.
