Blumenthal Silent on Biden’s Failures One Year After 13 American Heroes Lost Their Lives in Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal

GREENWICH, CT - Today marks the one-year anniversary of the Kabul airport terrorist attack when 13 American heroes lost their lives. This tragedy was a direct result of Biden’s incompetence in the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Dick Blumenthal, who currently sits on the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), has failed to hold Biden accountable for this preventable loss of life or for tarnishing the reputation of the United States on the world stage. Instead, Blumenthal remains silent. 

“One year after 13 American heroes tragically lost their lives in service to our nation, Dick Blumenthal’s silence is deafening. He is just as culpable as Joe Biden - another out-of-touch DC Democrat refusing to hold Biden or his administration accountable for the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan," said Leora Levy, candidate for U.S. Senate.
