Maggie will make sure that voting remains accessible, transparent, and fair.

Jack, Otero County Commissioners are at it once again.

The Commission voted to remove drop boxes and voting machines, to hand count ballots, and to sue Maggie for forcing them to certify completely valid election results. Basically, they’re mad that Maggie compelled them to do their job.

It is still unclear what they would be trying to accomplish in this lawsuit. What is clear is that these radical Commissioners will do anything they can to disrupt our free and fair elections.

As election deniers move to make voting harder, we need a Secretary of State that will keep our elections accessible, transparent, and accurate. Donate $10 or more right now to make sure Maggie has all of the support she needs to fight against these extremist officials and uphold democracy for all New Mexicans. →

It's disconcerting that the Commission is considering spending taxpayer dollars arguing against a Supreme Court order they caused when the Commission refused to do their legal duty, almost disenfranchising every Otero County voter.

Otero County is not a special case, but rather a canary in the coal mine of what is to come if we don’t have strong leaders fighting to uphold democracy. Maggie has fought back and won against election deniers before, and she will continue to ensure that every single vote is counted.

Now, it’s up to us to make sure Maggie stays in office and keeps protecting each and every vote.

Let’s do this,
