the Inflation Reduction Act. But this time, Big Pharma lost and the
American people won.

Because of the Inflation Reduction Act, Medicare is now allowed to
negotiate the cost of prescription drugs. This will lower prices for older
Americans, and saves taxpayer money—our tax dollars will no longer be
spent paying astronomical prices for some of the most commonly needed
medications.

her fellow Oversight Committee members had taken a campaign contribution
from that very company.
