In response to the new energy price cap Carla Denyer communicated our reaction saying 'The way forward is clear - a nationwide home insulation scheme and large scale investment in renewable energy'.

Writing for Left Foot Forward in the wake of the heatwaves and drought, deputy leader Amelia Womack warned: 'With the climate crisis at our door, the Tories are fiddling while the earth burns.'

The Green Party called for the nationalisation of the five big energy companies.

Co-leader Carla Denyer wrote in the New Statesman about why this is the only way to keep costs down and protect the planet.
